Day 1
Cusco – Abra Malaga – Huamanmarca – Santa Teresa
The first day will be fantastic. We will arrive at the Malaga pass and then we will bike down the mountain for 3 hours and see a beautiful valley. After lunch you will enjoy rafting on the river and then spend the night in Santa Teresa.
Day 2
Santa Maria – Camino Inca – Quellomayo – Santa Teresa
The flora and fauna surrounding this beautiful place is unique. The Inca trail will take us through fantastic places, we will arrive at the thermal baths of Qoqalmayo so you can relax and then rest in the village of Santa Teresa.
Day 3
Santa Teresa – Lucmabamba – Hidrohelectrica – Aguas Calientes
We will climb to Llactapata and from there you can admire the Inca city of Machu Picchu in the distance. Then we will continue to Hidrohelectrica to continue walking until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes.
Day 4
Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco
Finally we will visit the imposing Inca City of Machu Picchu and you can walk in the middle of this magical city and learn about the history of this place while enjoying an unforgettable tour and then we will go down to Aguas Calientes and then return to Cusco.

Itinerario
Día 1
Cusco – Abra Malaga – Huamanmarca – Santa Teresa
We will start the day at 6:00 a.m. and pick you up from your hotel in our private transportation and then drive for 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Ollantaytambo (2,792 m.a.s.l.). Where we will stop at a restaurant to have breakfast and buy some things you may need for today. Then we will continue the ascent to the highest point of the trek, the Malaga pass (4,350 m.a.s.l. / 14,271 ft.). After a few photos we will descend for about 20 minutes to the starting point of our adventure.
Once there you will have time to get ready and then you will have a briefing and recommendations for this first part with our guide. Then we will give you your safety equipment, helmet, gloves and your bike. Afterwards we will start with the downhill biking (3 hours approximately). In this part of the adventure you will be able to see the different Andean and Amazonian landscapes that this magical place has. From the majestic glacier of LA VERONICA (5.820 m.a.s.l. / 19.094 ft.), to the small village of Santa Maria (1.200 m.a.s.l. / 3.937 ft.). On this route you will be able to admire diverse natural landscapes from the Andean zone with its great mountains to the tropical jungle zone where you will admire the natural beauty of its green valleys, decorated with a great diversity of flora and fauna, streams, rivers and much more.
You will enjoy the panoramic views from the viewpoints and rests that we will have. You will be able to observe the beauty and warmth of these lands drawn by mother nature. Along this route (55 km / 34.175 mi.), we will pass through small villages until we reach Huamanmarca (1.575 m.a.s.l. / 5.167 ft.), from this place we will travel in our transport to the village of Santa Maria (1.200 m.a.s.l. / 3.937 ft.). In this place we will have lunch and then we will raft the Vilcanota River (category III and IV rapids), because your safety is the most important thing for us we will provide you with helmets, windbreakers and life jackets category V. specially designed for the practice of this extreme sport. Enjoy this adventure in one of the most beautiful rivers that this part of the jungle has and that is located in the direction of the Amazon. Feel at ease in the company of professional rafting guides, and accompanied by a kayak at all times.
After 2 hours we will return to the village of Santa Maria to enjoy a delicious dinner and then we will take you to a comfortable room so you can rest and recover energy for the next day.

Santa Maria – Camino Inca – Quellomayo – Santa Teresa
We will start the day with a delicious breakfast and after getting everything ready we will begin the hike. We will start with a 2 hour ascent where you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the place with the great diversity of flora and fauna of these mountains. The valleys will be decorated with streams, small waterfalls and a great variety of landscapes that cover the entire trail.
We will stop in many places to enjoy the panoramic views and you will be able to rest in places where you had never imagined to be. We will continue until we reach a local house where we will make a stop for you to rest, have a snack, drink water and of course taste the tropical fruits of the region.
Then we will continue our adventure through an Inca trail that was used to connect different constructions, agricultural centers, villages and of course the ancient lost city of the Incas Vilcabamba with the majestic sacred construction of Machu Picchu. We will share with you the history of this great communication system that has been of great importance for our ancestors.
You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Huancarccasa Canyon and the mountains along the way, you can also appreciate the majestic Salkantay glacier at the top of the mountain range. Then we will descend to the small village of Quellomayo and in this place we will enjoy a nutritious lunch and then you can take a nap in the middle of this fascinating place.
After a good rest we will continue our adventure in the direction of Qoqalmayo (1,410 m.a.s.l. / 4,625 ft.), where you can enjoy the hot springs offered by this wonderful place located at the foot of the mountains and next to the Vilcanota River. Enjoy and relax in these hot and crystalline waters that nature offers us, this place is the most preferred by all travelers coming from different treks such as Salkantay, Choquequirao and especially after visiting the Inca city of Machu Picchu.
After this relaxing moment we will board our private transportation to the village of Santa Maria (1,550 m.a.s.l. / 5,085 ft.). There we will go to your lodging and then you will have a delicious dinner, after a great day you will be able to rest in a comfortable room with all the services so you can start again a new day in the mountains.

Santa Teresa – Lucmabamba – Hidrohelectrica – Aguas Calientes
We will start the day with a delicious breakfast and then we will go by transport to Lucmabamba (2,000 m.a.s.l. / 6,561 ft.). From this place we will start our hike ascending by a traditional Inca Trail for 3 hours through a subtropical forest to the top of the mountain, then we will descend for 15 minutes until we reach the archaeological center of Llactapata (2,700 m.a.s.l. / 8,858 ft.). From this place you can enjoy the view of the great Urubamba valley and over the mountains the great Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
Admire the magic of the rainforest and wrap yourself in the middle of nature and the great green mountains that surround this magical city built by our ancestors in the middle of such a beautiful place.
After the panoramic views, photos and information of this place we will begin to descend until we reach the Ahobamba valley (1,900 m.a.s.l. / 6,233 ft.). After crossing the hanging bridge we will walk for 45 minutes on a flat trail until we reach Hidrohelectrica (1,800 m.a.s.l. / 5,905 ft.). At this place we will have lunch and then we will board the train with panoramic view from where you can observe and admire the beauty of the Amazon with its great vegetation, great variety of tropical birds and the company of the Urubamba River until arriving to the small town of Aguas Calientes. Once there we will take you to your hotel so you can settle in, take a hot shower and in the evening you will have dinner in a tourist restaurant and then you can rest to enjoy the last day of our adventure.

Day 4
Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco
The most awaited day has arrived. We will wake up early and after breakfast we will board the bus that will take us to the top of the mountain to start the visit and the guided tour inside the park.
Congratulations. After completing the most extreme adventure sports and trekking through valleys, rivers and part of the Amazon, you finally arrived at the majestic Inca city of Machu Picchu. Known as one of the new 7 wonders of the world and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, feel fortunate to have completed this wonderful challenge that many dream of doing. We will begin to take the first pictures, we will be located in a strategic place to start with the most important information of this archaeological center. The Inca History will be revealed and we will share with you the most important events about its discovery, importance and the most relevant about this stone city built on the mountains.
Then we will continue the tour walking through its streets and houses, reaching the quarry and the central square and then continue visiting the most important points. We will talk about each of these places that were used by our ancestors as work centers, homes and ceremonial centers. Always taking pictures of the memory. You will enjoy the tour and feel the strength that only this great Inca city can share with the people who are there. Feel the connection with Mother Nature and be enveloped by the magic of this place located on the great mountains accompanied by a great flora and fauna that complete its great energy and survive through hundreds of years away from the outside world. Day 1. We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the starting point of the trek, Soraypampa.

bus ticket. From Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu (one way).
Train ticket. From the town of Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo (expedition service) Personal belongings. We will wait for you at the station in Ollantaytambo and transfer you to the city of Cusco where we will drop you off at the door of your hotel.
On days 1 and 2 will carry all the camping equipment including your duffel bag (8 kg. / 17.63 lb.).
On days 3 and 4 your duffel bag will be transported by car and train.

The last night will be spent in a hotel ( 3 stars) in the town of Aguas Calientes with private service, private bathroom, hot shower, wi fi and storage service as you require.

Acclimatization.
Travelers arrive from different parts of the world, from different altitudes and even from sea level for this the recommendation is to arrive 2 or 3 days before to the city of Cusco (3,400 m.a.s.l. / 11,154 ft.). The altitude, the flight time and the time change can affect you especially if it is your first time in our city. No special training is required for this adventure, but acclimatization is recommended before starting the hike. We have alternatives before you travel. Day hikes for better acclimatization, we recommend some of them.
