Welcome to the city of Cusco. When you arrive you will have time to settle into your hotel and after lunch we will pick you up in our transportation to start the tour in the most important places of this beautiful city.
We will start by visiting the Plaza de Armas and then enter the Cusco Cathedral. You will learn about the impressive construction of this place and inside you will appreciate the impressive paintings of La Escuela Cusqueña and decorated in gold leaf, famous all over the world.
Then we will go to Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun). The Inca constructions and temples inside will make you travel back in time while you learn more about this ceremonial place, perhaps the most important within the Inca territory.
We will continue in our transportation to Sacsayhuaman. You will be able to observe this great construction with gigantic stones of up to 140 tons, carved and perfectly arranged in the walls of this great Inca city.
Then we will visit Q’enqo. Place built for rituals and ceremonies, we will continue the tour in Puka Pukara. A construction used for security and control of the city of Cusco.
We will arrive at the last place of the tour to visit Tambomachay. You will be able to see many constructions but the most important of this place are its water fountains. It was a great ceremonial center and from this point this vital element reached the city of Cusco, take your time to explore and walk around while learning with your guide more about our culture.
At the end we will return to the city of Cusco and we will leave you at your hotel so you can rest and enjoy the following days in our city.
